Police said that they are searching for two individuals who are wanted in connection with a robbery pattern this month in Queens Village and South Ozone Park.
On March 7, the individuals entered a drug store, located at 119-02 Rockaway Blvd. in South Ozone Park, around 5 a.m. and displayed firearms. The suspects forced the store’s employees to the rear of the store, entered the pharmacy area and removed a number of pharmaceuticals from the store. The suspects fled on foot in an unknown direction and there were no injuries reported.
On March 11, the suspects entered another drug store, located at 219-39 89th Ave. in Queens Village, and displayed firearms. The men forced the store employees to the rear of the store and removed a number of pharmaceuticals from the pharmacy. The individuals fled on foot and no injuries were reported.
The first suspect is described as a Hispanic man who was last seen wearing a face covering, black winter coat and blue jeans. The second suspect is described as a Hispanic man who was last seen wearing a face covering and red winter coat and was carrying a black backpack.
