106th, 110th and 114th Precincts: Burglary Pattern

Burglary Pattern

Police said that they are searching for two suspects in a burglary pattern in the 104th, 110th and 114th precincts that has extended from July through September.

During the first incident—around 4:35 p.m. on July 26—two unidentified individuals gained entry to a residential apartment at 81st Street and Broadway in Elmhurst. Once inside, they removed a laptop with an estimated value of $600.

Later that day—around 7:45 p.m.—the suspects gained entry into an apartment in the vicinity of Woodside Avenue and 76th Street in Woodside by breaking the door. The thieves stole a laptop with an estimated value of $300.

Then, on Aug. 17 at 2:08 p.m., the individuals entered through an apartment door at Astoria Boulevard and 27th Street in Astoria. The individuals removed a laptop and jewelry with a total estimated value of $2,739.

And on Sept. 5 just after 3 p.m., the two forcibly gained entry into an apartment at 81st Street and 156th Avenue in Howard Beach through the door. Once inside, they removed jewelry with a total estimated value of $15,900.

The first suspect is described as a five-foot-nine-inch white man who weighs approximately 160 pounds and is believed to be in his 50s. He was last seen wearing glasses, a dark baseball cap, gray shirt and dark pants. The other suspect is described as a five-foot-nine-inch white man who weighs approximately 160 pounds and is believed to be 30 years of age. He was last seen wearing glasses, a dark baseball cap, gray shirt and dark pants.
