106th Precinct: Assault, Burglary


Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two individuals who are wanted in connection with an assault that took place in front of a nightclub in Ozone Park on May 28.

Around 4:10 a.m., a man was involved in a verbal dispute with unidentified individuals before he entered his vehicle in front of Gemini Lounge, located at 105-11 Liberty Ave. As the victim was approaching his vehicle, he was stabbed several times with a sharp instrument about his torso. EMS transported the victim to Jamaica Hospital, where he was listed in serious, but stable, condition.

The first suspect is described as an Asian man in his 20s who was last seen wearing a blue baseball cap, blue shirt and dark pants. The other suspect was described as a black man in his 20s who was last seen wearing all dark clothing.


Police said that they are searching for an individual who is wanted in connection with a burglary that took place on June 8 in Ozone Park.

Around 2:40 a.m., the burglar gained entry into a residence in the vicinity of 103rd Street and Liberty Avenue by forcing open a kitchen window. Once inside, the suspect removed the 50-year-old homeowner’s jewelry and silver coins. The suspect fled on foot southbound on 103rd Street.

The burglar is a light-skinned man who was last seen wearing a camouflaged shirt, light-colored pants and dark-colored sneakers.
