106th Precinct: Burglary, Robbery


Police said that they are searching for an individual who is wanted in connection with a burglary that took place on May 5 in Ozone Park.

Around 6 a.m., the suspect entered an occupied residence in the vicinity of Liberty Avenue and 80th Street through a window. Once inside, the individual removed $200 and personal property before fleeing southbound on 80th Street.

The suspect is described as a black man with a medium build who is believed to be between the ages of 18 and 25. He was last seen wearing a blue and orange baseball hat, white shirt, green pants and dark colored sneakers.


Police said that they are searching for three individuals who are wanted in connection with a robbery that took place at a restaurant in South Richmond Hill on May 12.

Around 4:20 a.m., the three suspects punched and kicked two 38-year-old men inside of a Checkers Restaurant, located at 120-06 Liberty Ave., following a dispute. One of the victims was also struck with a chair. The suspects removed the victims’ chains from their necks during the assault, and then fled in a dark colored four-door sedan eastbound on Liberty Avenue. The victims were taken to Jamaica Hospital, where they were listed in stable condition.

All three suspects were described as black men between the ages of 25 and 30. The first suspect was wearing a green baseball cap, green shirt and dark colored pants. The second suspect was wearing a light colored baseball cap, gray T-shirt and light colored pants, while the third suspect was wearing a dark colored shirt and black pants.
