On Sunday, Sept. 11, at approximately 4:23 a.m., police responded to a call of a vehicle collision in the vicinity of 120th Street and Linden Boulevard.
Upon arrival, an investigation determined that a 2004 Audi A6, which was driven by a 25-year-old male, was traveling northbound on 120th Street at the intersection of Linden Boulevard when the vehicle collided with a 1993 Honda Civic being driven by a 53-year-old female traveling westbound on Linden Boulevard.
EMS responded and transported the driver of the Audi to Elmhurst Hospital in critical condition. EMS also transported three male Audi passengers ages 20, 22, and 23 to New York Hospital in stable condition. EMS also transported two additional Audi passengers, a 24-year-old male and 21-year-old female, to Jamaica Hospital in stable condition. An additional occupant of the Audi, a 23-year-old female, was transported via EMS to Jamaica Hospital with head trauma and was pronounced DOA. The driver of the Honda was transported by EMS to Jamaica Hospital with minor injuries.
The NYPD Collision Investigation Squad is investigating. The deceased is identified as the following: Desray Leroy, 23, of 101-21 108th St., South Ozone Park. The following individual has been arrested and charged:
Mouton, Ray 53-year-old female 89-25 Parsons Boulevard, Jamaica. He is charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operator and driving without a license.
