Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating an individual who is wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred in Ozone Park on April 6.
Around 1:06 p.m., the suspect entered a deli, located at 105-10 Cross Bay Blvd., displayed a firearm and removed cash from an employee.
The suspect also removed $2,200 in cash from a cash register before fleeing northbound on Cross Bay Boulevard. The suspect is described as a six-foot-three-inch black man who weighs approximately 220 pounds and was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, white sneakers and a Cleveland Indians baseball hat.
Police said that they are searching for two individuals who are wanted in connection with a knife-point robbery in South Richmond Hill on Feb. 14.
Around 8:50 a.m., a 19-year-old man was walking down the street near Liberty Avenue and 107th Street when two unknown men approached him. One of the suspects displayed a knife and forcibly removed the victim’s wallet, which contained approximately $50 in cash and identification.
The suspects then fled to parts unknown. The first suspect was described as a Hispanic man who was believed to be in his 20s and was last seen wearing a baseball cap and all dark clothing. The second suspect was a Hispanic man who was in his 20s and was last seen wearing a baseball cap with a yellow and black jacket and dark pants.
