Police said that they have arrested a 43-year-old Jamaica man in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 39-year-old Flushing man in Jamaica on Nov. 13.
Marquis Copeland, who lives at 115-22 148th St., was arrested on Nov. 16 and has been charged with murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon in the death of Christopher Cody, who lived on Roosevelt Avenue.
On Nov. 13 around 11:30 p.m., police responded to a 911 call of a man stabbed inside of a home at 147-12 116th Ave. Upon arrival, police officers observed an unidentified man in his 30s or 40s who was unconscious and unresponsive, with multiple stab wounds to the torso. EMS responded to the location and pronounced the victim dead at the scene. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
