Forest Hills’ Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church will host a food festival on March 11 that will include international cuisine from a variety of local eateries.
The “Taste of the World” food festival will run from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the back of the school’s parking lot on 72nd Road near Austin Street. Participating restaurants during last year’s event served Italian, German, Chinese, Filipino, Peruvian, Caribbean, Indian and Latin cuisine, but the festival also drew local burger eateries, bakeries, coffee shops and several chain restaurants.
Admission to the event—which is open to the public—is $25 in advance or $30 at the door. The entry fee covers sample plates of entrees and desserts. For more information, call (718) 268-6251.
Our Lady Queen of Martyrs is located at 72-55 Austin St.
